A LIFETIME OF CLASSES and learning

TAKING CLASSES forever it seems

I think I”ll make a list of those that I can remember taking after I left UCLA and got maried. I worked for two years and then had babies no time for anything else for a while although the books we used then were Gessel an Spock and I practically memorized them.

Now and not in any specific order because . . .well because I remember the following.
modern dance
tai chi
yoga
tennis lesons
golf lessons

auto one at the city college
creative writing there too and the following ones
Photo one and two on slides
drafting. four semesters
space design
illustration
architectural rendering
mythology
lithography
serigraphy . . .
etching

at the local park I begain learning to throw on the wheel. took two classes of that so as to have more time.
glaze chemistry

handbuilding workshop with wood firing one weekend
handbuilding indian style a few months
got my own kiln and continued on

classical guitar lessons
folk guitar lessons in classes
voice lessons class and private six years
music composition lessons. . private

computer classes at rop. regonal occupation program run by the state
computer drafting
computer pre press local college all on a mac

monoprint classes and private instruction
pil painting six weeks with ted gillian his studio a class

all of this after four and a half years of psych and art major at ucla.

that’s about it for now. I’m sure I’ve forgotten something. self help doesn’t count I supose but they were in there to to control weight etc. etc. I’ve been busy working on my own thruout nad teaching as well the nine years of folk guitar to classes and privately in my living room.

then my room mate taught me about her thing astrology.
and oh yes there was an aqupressure class at every womans village. .which I practiced for a year or so on anyone who would let me

life offers one exciting challenge after another. Eventually I might even learn to spell without the spell check. . .
and each new computer and operating system offers continued challenges. ME..

Hi, I also found your space through Muse Monkey. Actually, I have found a lot of blog friends through her. She is amazing, so any friend of her's is a friend of mine! I love that you have and are taking so many classes and keep on learning. I do the same thing and will continue to do so. There is so much to learn!!! You've taken some really interesting courses and many of those I am also interested in. You sound like a fascinating woman and someone I would like to get to know. I'll be back!
